Welcome to the first ever “Unofficial Upper East Side EdFest” bringing you the best of the 2017 Edinburgh Fringe right here in New York City. Join us for a dozen shows at the comfy, intimate setting of the historical Ryan’s Daughter with a full bar. Tickets for each show are only $5 at the door, plus a suggested donation following each show. $20 Festival Pass gets you into any of the shows all weekend. 12 Noon Walter DeForest: “VAN GOGH BRUNCH YOURSELF”
Food provided and Bloody Mary / Mimosa specials.
Walter paints Vincent Van Gogh’s true story while creating art with the audience. Art materials are supplied.

2pm Peter Michael Marino: “SHOW UP”
This critically acclaimed one-man, comedic, interactive, improvised spin on the traditional solo show is all about the good, bad and ugly experiences of the audience – who also lend a hand in the set & sound design. And there’s a party!

4pm Katie Kopajtic: “CONFESSIONS OF A PERSONAL TRAINER”
Katie is a luxury personal trainer in NYC. She’s thrilled to be working with you on her journey to wellness!

6pm Chris Davis: “THE LAST EMPEROR OF MEXICO”
directed by Mary Tuomanen
Maximilian I has recently been declared the Emperor of Mexico by Napoleon III, but his administration soon comes under attack by the revolutionary Benito Juarez. Maximilian is confronted with a great dilemma – to shave his beard or die by firing squad.

8pm Harmon Leon “INFILTRATING TRUMP’S AMERICA”
Comedian/Vice contributor Harmon Leon has made a career out of infiltrating extremist groups. Take his hand as he leads you on a multimedia journey into his true-life, undercover exploits into Trump America.
Weird, wildly original, and completely incomprehensible – if you’re not outraged – then you’re not paying attention.

10pm Chris Davis: “DRUNK LION”
(EdFringe encore show) directed by Mary Tuomanen
Drunk Lion follows a Lion who spends his days drinking, until he meets Chris, a young foreigner learning how to speak Spanish. The unlikely pair forge an intoxicated bond over life, love, and alcohol.

8pm Walter Michael DeForest “VAN GOGH FIND YOURSELF”
Based upon the letters of Vincent and Theo and the Memoirs of Vincent’s stay in Auvers-sur-Oise by Adeline Ravoux, DeForest sets the record straight on a true artist’s personal struggle for humanity. You think you know the truth? #VanGoghFindYourself, please. #VGFY. Note: Walter DeForest was born with a hole in his heart on July 30th. On July 30th, Vincent was buried.
